Only 45%* of dogs entering NSW pounds are reunited with their owners but by following our tips, you can increase the chance of this dog finding its way home!

Can you bring the dog to one of our microchip scanning locations to file a Found Dog Report AND if the owner isn’t found immediately, could you temporarily care for the dog or bring it to the pound? This greatly increases the chance of the dog going home, especially if someone can mind the dog temporarily. It could be the difference between the dog going home and staying in a pound for months! Most dogs that come through FindMyOwner will go back to their owner within a few hours, often much sooner. Note: Microchip Scanning Locations cannot hold dogs.
